Spicy Lime Asparagus

This really simple dish is perfect for serving with a side of steak or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, ends removed and sliced in half
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • juice of half a lime

Directions

  1. Place asparagus in a large saucepan and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook about 7 minutes, or until asparagus is tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Add all other ingredients and stir to coat asparagus.
  5. Serve as a side.
